I got back the second week of June. Then I got my obligatory two weeks off. In that time I have been trying to get the house the way I want it, and shape up the forest growing outside. With the help of Marcus and Shane, it’s coming along quite nice. And it couldn’t be at a better time, considering it’s apparently the time of year when the city appraisers come by!

Dropped the new stove and MicroRange/Hood thingie in. Completely scrubbed the kitchen. Repositioned the projector, and ran the cables int he ceiling. Just need to get a ceiling plate for it now so it doesnt look quite so ghetto. Although it’s better than what it was for sure a.

Got the front lawn done, and the shrubbery in the back. THAT was a chore. I should have taken before and after pictures of that hott mess!!! Ill take some after ones anyway, and post them. That’ll be just for you Chris… since I am “Margrett Stewart”.

So I need to do repair a piece of the carpet near my room, and some other minor cleaning… when all of a sudden I decide to go to Canada. This is partially the reason only the front lawn is done. The other part is the rain. I started it Friday morning… but then the rain came. What was I to do?

So now I am sitting in Regina for the first time. At the West Harvest Inn… rm 219… (isn’t that a Prince song?) Neway… It’s a decent place with a good military rate… I recommend it for anyone on a budget or frugal. They have all the amenities: Spool (Spa and a Pool - separate of course. I just wanted to make a new word.)A nice dinner buffet, I am about to go check the breakfast one now!

Ok, it’s Saturday night, and they had bingo in the Bra? No music. Even after bingo. What. De. Hell? After scoring extra drinks on another persons drink card, I headed to the reck-room to play some PC shooters. Yeah, got my ass handed to me by some godlike bots in UT2002. Got another guy to join in, and we had an unspoken agreement not to shoot each other. But after a few rounds of being in last place, that came to a screeching halt and he persisted on trying to frag me. Much to his dismay of course. I would just run away.. circle-strafe a lil. I guess he thought I was a noob. It was a good run though. Kinda got my juices flowing to get back to the next LAN party! Woot. It’s on. Four months away… and I still think I can WTFPWN 90% of the LAN members. I need some new competetion. Whith Chris “Instagay-Pheonix” Charles gone… who is left to challenge me in UT04. More to the point… what of UT06!?!?! Sigh. Well, off to watch some movies I guess. Another day….

Another boring day in the Died Tried to sleep until I could not sleep anymore. Then finally got up to eat. Went and played ball for a little while - had to wait for the womens team to get done with practice and get off the court.

After that, went and got my obligatory 3 drinks, then went to the theater to see Annapolis… turned out the dog movie was playing, the one with Tim Allen. Saw that in Balad already. Sigh. So I headed back out to the Bra and watched in amazement as a group of people passes a no shit BONG around the table. WOW.

Five more days.

Ok, I have run into some people here that I have not seen in a while. Ashanti Holmes - Mario, you will remember her. The baller, that always hung out with Shae and Drea. She is here doing her drafting thing. And that Dominican girl that was at Minot - I say was, cause she is stationed at Shaw now. I had no clue she left, but she is here doing the services thing.

There is “more” to do here than in Balad, But I would rather be there than here. It was more comfortable. I don’t know if it’s just because I am a transient, and don’t know anyone, and don’t have my own office… or what. But this place is the pits. I do have my own tent, I guess that is kinda cool? No, not really. It was a reach.

Anyway, only 6 days left here. Woo Hoo! “The Died!!” ahhh phoey. Guess I will go get something to eat at the 24/7 Chow hall… sigh.

Well, I am stuck in Al Udeid. In an effort to get back sooner, now I am here for 6 days with no internet (to speak of) and no phone Not that I ever used the phone. But I need my GMAIL!!!! Sigh.
